Attorney Margery Golant
Florida foreclosure defense and consumer protection attorney with experience spanning the courtroom, mortgage servicing, and consumer advocacy.
Experience From Every Side of the Problem
Margery Golant has spent decades helping Florida homeowners and consumers navigate foreclosure, mortgage disputes, real estate litigation, and consumer protection matters.
Her perspective is unusual because she has seen these problems from nearly every side. Her career has included consumer advocacy, foreclosure defense, real estate litigation, title work, judicial service, and the mortgage servicing industry.
Margery previously served as Assistant General Counsel and Director of Title Services for Ocwen Financial Corporation, one of the nation’s largest mortgage servicers. She is also a former judge and was recognized as Consumer Protection Attorney of the Year by The Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Law Committee.
That breadth of experience matters when a homeowner is facing a lender or mortgage servicer. Margery understands how servicing decisions are made, how foreclosure cases are built, where title and loan-document problems arise, and where borrowers may have leverage.
But clients do not come to Margery for a résumé. They come because they need someone who can look at a complicated situation, explain what is actually happening, and help them decide what to do next.
Clarity, not panic. Strategy, not slogans.
